Merete Osler is professor and senior physician at the Center for Clinical Research and Prevention, Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital and affiliated the Department of Public Health at the University of Copenhagen. Her research expertise lies in epidemiology and register-based studies, with focus on how early-life risk factors influence mental health outcomes. She also investigates social and geographical disparities in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, including the associated therapeutic effects and potential adverse consequences.
