Aasa Feragen is a Full Professor at the Technical University of Denmark. Aasa’s research sits at the intersection of machine learning, mathematics and healthcare, with a particular focus on bringing responsible AI tools to practical use. This includes a focus on uncertainty quantification, explainable AI and algorithmic fairness, as well as usability and reliability also of responsible AI tools. Aasa likes to contribute to community building and -maintenance, including as program chair of MICCAI (2024), IPMI (2021) and MIDL (2019) as well as general co-chair of EurIPS (2025).
